SleazyWorld Go Pleads Guilty

SleazyWorld Go pleaded guilty to a federal gun charge, with sentencing set for January 26, 2027, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Kansas.

The October 28 announcement identified him as Joseph R. Isaac, 28, of Kansas City, Kansas. He admitted possessing a firearm as a felon.

A 2016 armed robbery conviction in Michigan barred him from having a gun.

KCTV5’s reporting on court records traced the investigation to an anonymous tip in June 2022. Investigators found more than 30 public social media posts, spread across two years, that showed him with firearms.

Agents tracked his vehicle to a Kansas City, Kansas, townhome complex on October 19, 2022. KCTV5 reported that investigators used binoculars to watch him handle a black pistol. When local police arrived, he and about a dozen associates went into a townhome.

Officers used a phone camera to look through the vehicle’s tinted windows and saw guns inside, according to the court records cited by KCTV5. A search turned up four firearms.

AllHipHop previously covered the March jury verdict, which included a conviction on the felon-in-possession count and an acquittal on the machine gun count.

His management told KCTV5 then that his lawyers planned post-trial motions to address the remaining count. The new announcement did not explain what happened to that verdict or the intervening steps before the plea.

That investigation began during his breakthrough year in music. He grew up in West Michigan before moving to Kansas City, Missouri, and got started with the SleazyWorld collective. His first solo songs arrived in 2020, followed by projects including Big Sleaz and The Sleazy Way. The full-length project Sleazy came out in September 2021.

The 2021 song “Sleazy Flow” became a viral hit. Lil Baby joined the remix in May 2022. That year, he moved from self-released projects to Island Records for Where The Shooters Be, which included “Step 1” with Offset and “Glitches” with G Herbo.

An expanded edition followed in 2023. He also worked with Polo G and Einer Bankz on “Off The Court” before releasing More Than A Shooter in 2024. Skilla Baby and Rob49 appeared on that album.
