The Weeknd Ends “After Hours Til Dawn Tour” With $1.3 Billion Gross

The Weeknd finished his “After Hours Til Dawn” tour with more than $1.3 billion in ticket sales, closing a four-year run that drew over 9 million fans across five continents, according to promoter Live Nation.

The tour concluded in Kuala Lumpur at TM Stadium Nasional, the company announced. Its final count covered 176 shows in 67 cities across 30 countries, beginning with the tour’s July 2022 launch.

The final figure extended a record The Weeknd had already claimed. AllHipHop reported that “After Hours Til Dawn” passed $1 billion in November 2025, when it became the highest-grossing tour by a male solo artist.

The $1.3 billion figure was the final reported gross for the completed run.

Variety reported that the promoter-confirmed total placed the tour third overall behind Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour,” which topped $2 billion, and Coldplay’s “Music Of The Spheres” tour, which exceeded $1.5 billion.

Elton John’s farewell tour previously held the male solo record at $939 million.

The Weeknd’s 2026 dates alone brought in more than $500 million from over 3 million tickets.

July accounted for over $120 million and nearly 900,000 tickets, according to the promoter.

The last stretch took the production through Asia, a market Live Nation’s touring president Omar Al-joulani described as a major remaining step for the singer.

“The Weeknd has been a stadium act in Australia, South America, Mexico and all through Europe, so Asia was the final frontier,” Al-joulani told HITS Daily Double.

The Asian leg grew from 11 dates to 17 sold-out shows, including three in Bangkok and four in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong stop also connected the tour to a new release. The Weeknd introduced “Hong Kong” during his opening Kai Tak Stadium show on October 24.

Released October 31 in East and Southeast Asia, the song used vocals from Faye Wong’s 1993 track “Monsoon.”

The stadium records stretched beyond Asia. His seven SoFi Stadium shows set male-artist records for performances and gross. Six Rogers Centre dates set a male solo record for a single tour. Seven U.K. shows in 2026 drew more than 450,000 fans.

Live Nation also reported $8.5 million raised through the XO Humanitarian Fund and Global Citizen across the run.

That included $3 million in 2026 for work through the World Food Programme and Global Citizen supporting hunger relief, education and women and girls.
