Tiffany Pollard Clash Has Philip Regan Threatening To Quit “Big Brother”

Tiffany Pollard left Philip Regan talking about going home after a “Big Brother” argument on her guest return turned personal.
According to the Daily Mail, the celebrity guest called him a “huge backstabber,” describing what she said was the public’s view. She then mocked his hair loss as he headed to the Diary Room.
“I do really want go home now,” Regan said. He called Pollard nasty and later confronted her about hurting his feelings. She later compared his look to an out-of-work Steven Seagal as their dispute continued outside the Diary Room.
The report also described a separate mix-up: housemate Twinks wrongly said Angie Bowie had died. Producers corrected that claim.
Pollard had promised trouble before her guest stay. She previously shared the celebrity house with Angie Bowie in 2016, when she finished fourth.
That earlier season included a very different misunderstanding. Angie told Pollard that David had died, referring to her former husband, David Bowie. Pollard believed she meant fellow housemate David Gest.
Other contestants checked on Gest and found him asleep. Actor John Partridge then explained which David Angie had meant. Pollard had accused Angie of making a cruel joke before the confusion was cleared up.
ITV News reported in January 2016 that Ofcom had received more than 200 complaints. Viewers objected to showing Angie’s grief, Pollard’s reaction and how other housemates treated her.
The sharp exchanges also carried a history beyond that house. Pollard built her “New York” name on “Flavor Of Love” before leading “I Love New York.” Flavor Flav gave her the nickname, as a 2023 Bustle profile recalled.
But she rejected the idea that the person on screen was wholly separate from her private life. She said she sometimes forgot a camera was running and could upset people close to her, too.
Pollard also spoke about the pressure to keep giving viewers the version they first met. At 41, she said fans still wanted her to behave as she had at 23. She wanted room to choose her own response.
She said she could still confront someone when needed, while no longer seeking anger and frustration simply to help ratings.
