Tinashe is taking Popstar on the road with “The Show Must Go On,” a new North American tour with 18 stops. The run starts April 14, 2027, in Dallas and ends May 15 in Los Angeles.
Artist presale begins Tuesday, October 20. General sales follow Wednesday, October 21. Both start at 10 A.M. local time through her official website. Fans in Portland will have to wait to buy tickets for May 8. That show’s venue and ticket sale date will come later.
Her team announced the tour Monday, October 19. It will open at The Bomb Factory and close at Shrine Expo Hall. The first three shows stay in Texas. Austin and Houston follow Dallas on April 15 and April 16. The run then crosses the South and East Coast before heading west. Vancouver’s Malkin Bowl hosts the only Canadian stop on May 10.
The tour expands on her “3 Nights With A Popstar” run, which covers Chicago, Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Her team says all three shows sold out. Brooklyn Paramount hosts the next date on October 24. The fall run ends November 7 at Hollywood Palladium.
Popstar has already brought her a new chart high. It debuted at No. 6 on the Billboard 200, her first top 10 album. Her prior peak came with Aquarius, which hit No. 17 in 2014.
Released September 25, the new set has 16 tracks, including “Melatonin” and “Nobody Wanna Dance Anymore.” It is her eighth album. The record pairs songs built for the club with the ballad “I’d Rather Be Alone.”
Speaking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, she stressed that the title leaves room for all her tastes.
“When I think of the word ‘popstar,’ I don’t think of it as something that’s exclusionary of other genres,” she said.
The tour arrives two years after “Nasty” went viral. As AllHipHop previously reported, Tinashe told Kaytranada that she had to build on that moment to create a lasting career.
Before her own run, she will join Harry Styles at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Those shows are set for April 2 and April 3, 2027.
