Two held after rifle, ammo found in Granville house

ST JAMES, Jamaica — Two people have been arrested in connection with the seizure of a firearm and several rounds of ammunition by lawmen assigned to the St James Police Division during an operation in Gut Hill, Granville, St James, on Monday, September 14. Their identities have not been released. Reports are that at about 1:50 pm, a police team conducted a search of a two-bedroom house and found a .223 Wylde mini rifle in a chest of drawers in one of the bedrooms. The rifle was loaded with a magazine containing 13 rounds of .223 ammunition.
