Tyga Sued For Bailing On Two Concerts In Taiwan & Keeping The Loot

Tyga is facing a fraud and breach-of-contract suit from Beijing Tongxing Wanxin Catering Management for ditching two shows, TMZ reported.

The company alleged the rapper missed Club Pac Star appearances on August 4 and October 27, 2023. He was supposed to perform in the first half of 2024 and sent a $10,000 settlement refund of the $145,000 he was paid.

But the company never received the remaining $135,000, and it wants it back, plus interest and punitive damages.

Local consumer officials previously scrutinized Tyga over the canceled Taiwan booking. In a March 20, 2025 statement, Taipei’s Department of Legal Affairs said it had received 52 complaints from consumers who said they had not received refunds.

That booking covered a November 21, 2024 show at Zepp New Taipei and an after-party at OMNI in Taipei.

The department identified Onion Production as the overseas promoter. Local firms arranged Tyga’s work permit and rented the performance venue.

Officials said the company did not attend their administrative inquiry and had been asked, through a local company, to publish more details about refunds and rescheduling.

The promoter posted an update on its event page. A November 20, 2024 notice blamed an unforeseen personal matter involving the artist for the cancellations. It said the company was working with his team to find another date.

In a March 20, 2025 update, Onion Production said refunds had started in mid-January. It attributed some delays to verification requirements under Taiwan’s anti-money laundering rules and said it had transferred funds to ticketing platform Eventix.

According to the promoter, Eventix was processing refunds through the original payment method.
