Victoria Monét Cancels Raleigh & New Orleans As Charlotte Show Moves

Victoria Monét canceled two early stops on her “Frequency Of Love Tour,” leaving Raleigh and New Orleans without shows while Charlotte fans got a new date and venue.

The Raleigh concert had been set for October 27 at Red Hat Amphitheater, followed by October 30 at The Fillmore New Orleans. Ticketmaster now marks both events as canceled.

Charlotte moved from October 28 at Skyla Credit Union Amphitheater to November 5 at Ovens Auditorium. CLTure reported that Monét cited production challenges for the changes.

Fans who bought tickets for Skyla can use them at Ovens, according to the original event listing. The new show starts at 8 p.m. Ovens Auditorium is at 2900 E Independence Boulevard, Charlotte, North Carolina 28205. Doors open at 7 p.m., an hour before the show.

For Raleigh buyers, Ticketmaster says refunds will be automatic. The money goes back to the payment method used for the purchase once the organizer sends the funds, and it can take 14 to 21 days to appear. For transferred tickets, Ticketmaster sends the money to the original buyer rather than the person holding the ticket.

The Raleigh cancellation also changed which artist closed out the current Red Hat site. Monét had been booked for its last concert before the venue moves, WRAL reported. Instead, Steve Lacy played the final show there on October 23.

The sold-out concert marked the old location’s end ahead of a new amphitheater next door. June 2027 remained the target for the new venue’s opening, according to Kerry Painter of the Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Complex. Red Hat Amphitheater opened in 2010. Plans include more than 6,000 sloped seats and permanent bathrooms.

The revised dates come after the October 2 release of Frequency of Love, her 22-song album through Lovett Music/RCA Records.

As AllHipHop previously reported, the record features SZA, Bruno Mars and Leon Thomas, with Monét’s daughter Hazel also appearing. That earlier tour plan put opening night in Raleigh.

The run marks her first tour since 2023, according to CLTure.

The next active concert on Ticketmaster’s schedule is October 31 at Houston’s 713 Music Hall.
