Wanna-Be Influencer Turns Himself In Over Cheesesteak Assault & Whines About Donald Trump

Frankie Olivieri Jr. runs one of Philadelphia’s most iconic restaurants, and on Thursday night he got a reminder that even 96 years of history doesn’t protect you from internet clout chasers.
A man who threw a cheesesteak directly in the face of general manager Tom Francano at Pat’s King of Steaks turned himself in to police, and he’s facing a harassment citation instead of assault charges.
The whole thing was caught on camera, and the suspect even posted about it on social media, basically handing police the evidence they needed on a silver platter.

Here’s where it gets wild. The guy ordered a cheesesteak with Cheez Whiz and onions, sat down at a table, and then deliberately tore the sandwich apart with his bare hands without ever taking a bite.
He wasn’t eating it. He was staging it. When he brought the mangled cheesesteak back to the counter, he exchanged words with Francano and hurled it through the service window, then ran down the street. Francano threw pieces back at him as he fled, but nobody reported injuries.
Olivieri said the whole thing was premeditated and designed to go viral.
“His intention was to make a video: get the sandwich, have an argument at the window, film the entire thing, throw the sandwich through the window, and run away,” Olivieri explained. “That’s how he gets clicks.”
The owner offered a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest, worried that if the video spread, other people would start copying the stunt at his restaurant and everywhere else. He was right to be concerned.
According to 6abc, the suspect identified himself on social media, saying “Yes, I am the bol who threw the cheesesteak in the bol face.” He claimed he wanted a refund because the cheesesteak was nasty, but Olivieri’s surveillance footage told a different story.
“Yes I’m the boul who threw the damn cheesesteak in the boul face bro. Y’all want to know it’s so crazy bro? So you could you get charged for throwing a cheesesteak at an old head, but I could buy a fucking shotgun and an ARP at 18 years old. Like make it make sense Philly. I get in trouble for throwing a cheesesteak, while our fucking president is a fucking felon, while they sex trafficking fucking kids, while they get to do whatever the fuck they want, but I get in trouble for a cheesesteak.
Google shut down the suspect’s YouTube channel, and as reported by the Philadelphia Inquirer, this was the first time in Pat’s history that someone came to the restaurant specifically with a camera to stage a confrontation.
