WATCH: Body of 70-y-o found in Manchester tank

MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A 70-year-old man is suspected to have drowned in a water tank at his home in Huntley district, Manchester Thursday morning. Relatives identified him as Cyrus Hutchinson. His relative and neighbour Christopher Whittaker said he saw Hutchinson’s body in the water tank about 7:15 am. “I came here this morning to catch water. I didn’t see the [water] pan…When I looked over in the tank I saw [the body] and I called to his brother same time and called the police,” said Whittaker. “He is accustomed to the tank, but he is weak due to therapy. He doesn’t have the strength. His brother said he [pulled] water for him last night. I don’t know how comes he was catching water again,” added Whittaker.
