Webbie Collapses Onstage During Dallas Performance With Boosie BadAzz

Webbie took the stage Saturday night at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas alongside Boosie BadAzz for what was supposed to be a celebration of their legendary partnership.

But the 40-year-old Baton Rouge rapper’s health took a concerning turn during the performance.

Video footage circulating online captured the moment he collapsed onstage, with fans and attendees immediately rushing to his aid as his team worked to get him off the stage safely.

The exact cause of the incident remains unclear, though speculation has centered on a possible seizure based on eyewitness accounts and the nature of his collapse.

This isn’t the first time the “Independent” rapper has faced a medical emergency while performing.

Back in 2021, Webbie collapsed during a show at 213 Lux Lounge in Roanoke, Virginia, and was rushed to the hospital for evaluation.

According to reporting from AllHipHop, he was checked out by doctors and given clearance to leave after that incident, with his promoter noting at the time that Webbie had “put his fans before his health” by continuing to perform despite feeling unwell.

Webbie has been open in interviews about battling seizures and the steps he’s taken to manage his condition, acknowledging publicly that he deals with epilepsy and that seizures can be triggered by various factors.

Despite these ongoing health concerns, Webbie has continued to perform and collaborate with artists, including his longtime partner Boosie BadAzz, with whom he helped define Baton Rouge’s rap scene through their work under Pimp C’s Trill Entertainment in the mid-2000s.
