Willie D Raises $300K For Nolan Wells Justice Fund

Willie D and over 20 content creators just pushed the Justice for Nolan Wells Reward Fund past $300,000 with a 12-hour YouTube-A-Thon on October 3, and the Geto Boys legend isn’t stopping there.

The marathon stream on Willie D Live brought together entrepreneurs, activists, and community voices for a day focused entirely on finding answers about the death of 18-year-old Nolan Wells.

Participants included Farrah Gray, Dr. Boyce Watkins, Judge Carlos Moore, and dozens of other voices with real platforms and real reach.

Willie D made it clear this is about way more than just collecting money.

“This is bigger than a fundraiser,” he said during the event. “We’re trying to create an incentive strong enough that if somebody is sitting on credible information about what happened to Nolan, they have another reason to come forward. More than $300,000 is a powerful start, but our goal is $1 million, so we’re not stopping here.”

The campaign is specifically hunting for verifiable evidence, not rumors or speculation, with the reward tied to an actual conviction.

Farrah Gray, who participated in the stream, spoke directly to Willie D’s influence and why his involvement matters.

“Willie D is an icon. His voice has carried weight in our culture for decades, and he continues to use that influence when it matters most. What he has done for Nolan Wells and his family shows exactly why his impact goes far beyond music.”

That’s the real story here.

This isn’t just a celebrity showing up for a cause. This is a legendary voice using decades of credibility to push a community toward action.

The second YouTube-A-Thon is already in the works, and Willie D is calling on other celebrities and content creators with massive platforms to step up and join the effort.

Details for part two are coming soon, and the momentum from the first event shows there’s real appetite for this kind of community-driven justice work.

Nolan’s family deserves answers, and this fundraising push represents a different approach to getting them.

The $1 million target isn’t arbitrary.

It’s designed to be substantial enough that someone with information will take the risk of coming forward.

The reward fund remains open for contributions, and organizers are confident the second event will push them even closer to that million-dollar goal.
