Witness Says Assassin Ran His Mouth; Admitted “Putting In Work” In Mo3 Assassination

Kewon White allegedly confessed to killing rapper MO3 during a casual conversation with his cousin Cedric Bradley just days after the November 2020 freeway shooting, according to testimony presented in court.

Bradley, testifying in the MO3 murder trial, told jurors that White showed up at his house on Fernwood around 1 to 2 P.M. after Bradley had just been released from jail in Alabama.

The two grew up together in the Oakliff area of Dallas and maintained a close relationship, with Bradley serving as a mentor figure to the younger White.

During their conversation, White allegedly became excited while discussing a gun Bradley had just purchased. White then mentioned he was expecting to receive money and planned to buy another gun once he got paid.

When Bradley asked what money White was referring to, the defendant allegedly revealed his involvement in the freeway shooting.

“He was like, ‘I was the one did that work on that rap nigga on the freeway,'” Bradley testified. White then allegedly provided detailed information about how the shooting unfolded.

According to Bradley’s account, White described pulling up alongside the victim’s vehicle, rolling down the window, and firing shots at the car to make it stop.

Once the vehicle stopped, White allegedly said his associate “Buddy” exited and fired additional shots.

Bradley testified that White claimed the victim then took off running, and White chased him down, firing more shots.

White allegedly told Bradley he believed he shot the victim in the buttocks area, after which “Buddy” stood over the victim and fired more shots before they fled the scene.

Bradley said White expressed frustration about not receiving payment for the hit.

“I tell him, I’m like, ‘Damn, you did all that on the freeway or whatever. You ain’t got no money,'” Bradley testified. White allegedly responded that he wasn’t concerned about the money at that moment.

Bradley’s account placed White at the scene of the crime and provided specific details about the shooting that prosecutors argued only someone involved would know.

The testimony also suggested a financial motive, with White allegedly expecting payment for carrying out the hit on behalf of rapper Yella Beezy, who was feuding with Mo3.
