Yella Beezy Defense Challenges MO3 Witness’s Testimony

Yella Beezy’s defense challenged Cedric Bradley’s testimony Kewon White confessed to killing MO3, citing Bradley’s September 2024 denial of knowledge.

The trial continued in Dallas on November 4. Yella Beezy, whose legal name is Markies Conway, pleaded not guilty to capital murder.

Prosecutors accused him of hiring Kewon White to kill his fellow Dallas rapper after a feud. MO3, whose legal name was Melvin Noble, was killed on Interstate 35E on November 11, 2020.

“Your freedom here with the government is a big deal,” a lawyer said, FOX 4 reported.

Bradley faces up to 30 years. His deal dropped a mandatory five-year gun count. Prosecutors said the plea’s June 25 filing preceded their July 10, 2026 meeting.

Bradley’s account had already reached another jury.

During White’s separate trial, he described a visit from White after Bradley returned home from jail. In testimony AllHipHop covered September 1, Bradley said White talked about expecting money and buying another gun once he got paid. The two grew up together in Dallas’ Oak Cliff area.

“He was like, ‘I was the one did that work on that rap nigga on the freeway,'” Bradley testified then.

Bradley also described asking White why he had not received money after the shooting.

“I tell him, I’m like, ‘Damn, you did all that on the freeway or whatever. You ain’t got no money,'” Bradley testified in that earlier proceeding.

White was convicted of capital murder in September and sentenced to life in prison. Yella Beezy’s jury is hearing the allegations against him in a separate trial.

White’s lawyers later sought a new trial over allegations that a juror slept during testimony.

The witness dispute followed a day of testimony about the records prosecutors used to build their payment theory.

FBI Special Agent Taylor Page mapped phones associated with Yella Beezy, White, Devin Brown and Jerry Johnson.

The timeline included Yella Beezy’s $40,000 cash withdrawal in Frisco on November 20, 2020. Johnson’s phone traveled toward Frisco before moving toward White’s phone in South Dallas.

Page said the records showed no direct calls between Yella Beezy and White or Brown. The contacts ran through Johnson.

He also acknowledged that location data could not establish who held a phone or whether people shared a vehicle.
