Dancehall on Roadblock Radio comes from working DJs. The people on air on a Thursday night are the same people in a party on Saturday, which is why the selections move as fast as the music does.
The Blitz with Vybz 44 takes Thursday and Friday evenings. DJ Norie brings the Thursday drive time. DJ Rapid Killa runs the late Thursday mix, and Reality Check with DJ Black Barbie closes Friday and Sunday nights.
Kingston sets the pace, but the mixes stay honest about where the audience is. New York and Florida dancehall has its own accent and this station has both.
