Carnival season never really ends here. Groovy, power, and the mixes that carry Trinidad, Barbados and Antigua through the year.
Soca has a calendar and this station runs on it. Trinidad Carnival in the winter, Labor Day on Eastern Parkway at the end of the summer, Miami Carnival in October, and Crop Over and Antigua Carnival in between.
Island Vibez with Ian D. Goose takes Sunday afternoons. Island Vybz Saturdayz with Jen and David runs Saturday mornings. Roadblock Island Mix with DJ Mr. Famous is the Saturday night set, and Full Revvvv with DJ Cris Cross fills the late afternoon before it.
The rest of the week, soca is threaded through the drive time mixes rather than shut away until February.
